Tall, sleek, quiet in operation and absolutely wonderful for my big old 3 lb. cans of coffee. Very, very nice to look at and easy to use and clean. I hope it is restocked as soon as possible for others that I have recommended the can opener to.
Description of Hoffritz HZCO1 Tall Can Opener
Capable of handling cans as tall as 8 inches, this big, heavy, electric can opener also has a built-in knife and scissors sharpener on its back and a bottle opener on the front directly under the can-opening assembly. The sharpener has three slots, one for scissors and the other two for knives, with one knife slot for a blade's top and the other for a blade's bottom. A magnet lifts a can's cut-off top free so it doesn't fall into the food. Pressing down the can opener's rubberized lever is comfortable because the lever is soft and slip-resistant. The cutting assembly removes for easy cleaning. To reduce counter clutter and facilitate storage, the opener's power cord automatically retracts into a hole in the rear. The opener is made of durable cast aluminum with a brushed finish and has an attractive, golden accent section with a smooth finish on the bottom.
